On May 10th, 2025, the Luoyang City Cycling League Shimiao Station and the Second “Funiu Mountain Ski Resort Cup” Cycling Open were held in Shimo Town, Luanchuan County.
This competition features four categories: Men’s Road Elite Group, Men’s Mountain Open Group, Men’s Road Mass Group, and Women’s Mountain Open Group. Nearly 500 professional athletes and cycling enthusiasts from all over the country participated in the competition.
The route of this competition is based on the “Ecological Funiu No.1 Tourist Road Luanchuan Section”, connecting the scenic spots along the way. It is 16 kilometers long, with the maximum altitude gain reaching 1,400 meters.
After the competition, Han shunyuan won the men’s road elite group championship with a time of 30 minutes and 29 seconds; Huang shihai won the men’s mountain public group championship with a time of 33 minutes; Mo xiaochen won the women’s public group championship with a time of 38 minutes and 36 seconds; Wang aoqi won the men’s road mass group championship with a time of 30 minutes and 35 seconds.
The 2025 Luoyang City Cycling League – Shimiao Station and the Second “Funiu Mountain Ski Resort Cup” Cycling Open is the second consecutive year that Shimiao Town has hosted a municipal-level sports event. This competition is not only a grand gathering of sports competition but also an innovative practice of “sports + tourism + rural revitalization” in Shimiao Town.
