On June 30, the lotus pond at Luoyang Sui-Tang City Ruins Botanical Garden entered its peak blooming season, with lotuses opening one after another and painting a fresh summer scene. Lush green leaves spread in layers, while pink, white, and rose-colored blossoms dotted among them—some tightly closed with plump buds, others fully unfurled with tender yellow seed pods. The flowers displayed countless graceful postures. A gentle breeze carried the sweet fragrance of lotus, dispelling the summer heat.
