The 2025 China Quality and Technology Awards were announced, with multiple achievements from Luoyang winning awards.
Recently, the list of winners of the 2025 China Association for Quality Quality Technology Award was announced, and several achievements from Luoyang were selected.
Luoyang Bearing Research Institute Co., Ltd. won the second prize with the project “In-situ Slow-release Lubrication Reliability Enhancement Technology and Application for High-performance Aerospace Bearings”. This project innovatively proposed the in-situ slow-release lubrication technology, effectively solving the lubrication problems of aerospace bearings under extreme working conditions and enhancing the reliability and service life of the bearings.
Gree Electric Appliances (Luoyang) Co., Ltd. also won the second prize with the project titled “Key Technologies for Intelligent Quality Control System of Air Conditioners throughout Their Lifecycle Oriented towards ‘New Quality Productivity'”. This project has established a “three-dimensional integrated” digital quality management system, achieving full-process intelligent quality control and possessing industry-wide promotion value.
The project “Integrated Manufacturing Technology and Key Equipment Development and Application of High-End Heat-Resistant Fine-Grained Copper Strip and Sheet” submitted by China Nonferrous Metal Technology Co., Ltd. won the third prize. This technology has solved the manufacturing process problems of high-performance copper strip and sheet for new energy, met the demands of battery connectors for new energy vehicles, and promoted the technological progress of the industry.
The Quality Technology Award of the China Association for Quality is a national quality technology award approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, and it is the highest honor in the industry.
