Recently, the Sui and Tang Luoyang City Scenic Area (Ying Tianmen, Ming Palace and Tian Palace, Jiuzhou Pool) has created an immersive experience by adding NPC interactive performances with a Silk Road theme, allowing tourists to “time travel” back to the prosperous Tang Dynasty.

Inside the scenic area, “merchants” dressed in Hu clothing and leading camels are selling West Asian spices, and stories along the Silk Road are presented through forms such as dance and drama. The scenic area aims to attract tourists, especially the younger generation, with more interactive performances, promote cultural and tourism consumption, and transform “traffic” into “retention”.
