Song County Wetland Welcomes Wintering Migratory Birds

Recently, the Song County Lu Hun Lake National Wetland Park has welcomed a large number of migratory birds for the winter.

According to the monitoring personnel of the wetland park, since this winter, over 60 species of birds including the bean goose, common cormorant, red-billed gull, pochard and coot have been observed successively. They sometimes soar in the sky with their wings flapping, and sometimes float leisurely, foraging and playing, adding vitality to the quiet winter wetland.

In recent years, Song County has continuously strengthened the ecological protection and restoration of the Lu Hun Lake Wetland. Through a series of measures such as promoting water source conservation, vegetation restoration, and regular patrolling and monitoring, the ecological environment of the wetland has been significantly improved. Nowadays, the biodiversity here is increasingly rich, creating excellent conditions for migratory birds to safely overwinter.
