The report shows that in 2025, national cultural and tourism consumption continues to heat up, with event tourism, intangible cultural heritage tourism, and small-town tourism among the most popular categories. The number of group-buying orders for hotels and travel on the Douyin platform increased by 42% year-on-year, and the number of group-buying orders for hotels and homestays rose by 63% year-on-year. The number of orders for “Heart-Beating Hotels” even soared by 152% year-on-year.
