On the April 7th, near the Chenshang Building in Luoyang’s Wangcheng Park, the “unparalleled” peony – Jin Si Guan Ding – began to bloom, attracting tourists to queue up in an orderly manner to admire it.
As the top flower-viewing attraction last year, Jin Si Guan Ding has its own popularity. Currently, it has five flowers in full bloom, with a flowering period of only 3 to 5 days. Before this year’s Peony Culture Festival, in order to facilitate tourists to enjoy the flowers in an immersive way, the Wangcheng Park District has created a special scene called “Jin Si Guan Ding · Wind Rises in Wangcheng”, and newly built a wooden walkway, making the magnificent beauty of Jin Si Guan Ding within easy reach.
Meanwhile, the popular green peony “Chunliu” and a century-old purple-spotted peony that can produce over 300 flowers in the Wangcheng Park are also blooming one after another. (Photo by Xie nana, Intern Tangcan Correspondent Liu Miao)
