on April 10th, it was learned from the Luoyang Museum that the exhibition adjustment work carried out to support the 42nd China Luoyang Peony Culture Festival has been completed. Nearly 200 new cultural relics have been fully integrated into the exhibition’s main line, providing more physical support for tourists from all over the world to feel the profound historical heritage of the ancient capital Luoyang.
Among the newly added 50 pieces of tri-colored glazed pottery, there are not only large-sized tri-colored glazed horse figurines but also small-sized tri-colored glazed sleeping dogs that are only the size of a palm, as well as complete sets of tri-colored glazed seven-star plates, further highlighting the cultural characteristics of Luoyang tri-colored glazed pottery.
According to the person in charge of the exhibition department of Luoyang Museum, the newly added cultural relics cover six major categories, including four first-class cultural relics, 21 second-class cultural relics and over a hundred characteristic artifacts, presenting a more complete historical picture of the River-Luo civilization to the audience.
