On September 6th, 2025, the opening ceremony of Luoyang City’s “National Science Popularization Month” and the Science Popularization Carnival were held at the Sui-Tang Ruins Botanical Garden. Over 60 science popularization exhibits were showcased, presenting a splendid science popularization feast for the citizens.
This event is hosted by the Science and Technology Association of Luoyang City, with the theme of “Science and Technology Change Life, Innovation Win the Future”. It features seven major exhibition areas including modern science and technology, agricultural science and technology, science and education culture, youth science and technology education, health and wellness, emergency science popularization, and interactive science popularization, as well as stage science popularization drama performances. It uses various forms such as graphic and text displays, physical interaction, explanations and demonstrations to provide science popularization education for the audience.
It is understood that after the launch ceremony, the Science and Technology Association of Luoyang City will also join hands with universities, research institutes, primary and secondary schools, enterprises and institutions, communities, social organizations and science popularization bases across the city to hold 38 national science popularization month series activities such as science popularization in schools, science popularization in communities, and rural tours by agricultural technology experts. The various activities will last for one month, truly making the National Science Popularization Month an important platform for all citizens to participate in and share science, and helping to raise the scientific literacy of the entire population to a new level.
