24 National Internet Celebrities immersed in visit Luoyang

From July 13 to July 14, 29 network celebrities from 24 countries, including Russia, Brazil, India, and Costa Rica, traveled to Luoyang in a group to immerse themselves in sightseeing. They visited the China First Heavy Tractor Factory Eastern Red Agricultural Museum, the Wuhan Community Neighborhood Center in Jianxi District, and Luoye Ancient City, where they felt the pulse of Luoyang’s industrial development, the quality of urban functions and the profound historical and cultural heritage.

      “The ‘China Intelligence’ is amazing”

As soon as they arrived at the China First Heavy Tractor Factory Eastern Red Agricultural Museum, the group was attracted by a tractor at the entrance. Maria Solange Nishimwe, a self-media blogger from Rwanda, climbed onto the tractor and called her companions to take photos. “This is the first time I have seen such a big tractor. I can’t wait to have the key to it.”

The group also tried driving four models of the Eastern Red tractor. “The ‘China Intelligence’ is amazing. The car is so easy to drive, it’s like playing a game. What’s amazing is that it has more than 40 forward gears and 30 reverse gears.” After experiencing the power-shift large wheel tractor, Indian self-media blogger Bhavani Taran Arumugam praised it repeatedly.

“The Chinese people are too happy”

In the Wuhan Community Neighborhood Center in Jianxi District, the group went into various function rooms to take photos. They also learned to dance traditional dances with community residents, experience traditional Chinese medicine treatments, and make lacquered fans.

“Are these painted by themselves?” In the community calligraphy and painting room, several elderly people drawing peony fans drew everyone’s attention. After confirming that the elegant peonies on the fans were indeed painted by the elderly people present, several online celebrities pulled out cash to buy “precious artworks”.

After receiving the hand-painted peony fans, Egyptian DMC TV host Ramy Radwan asked an elderly person to write his daughter’s Chinese name on the back of the fan. He hoped to have the opportunity to bring his daughter to China.

“Living here, the Chinese people are too happy,” said Maxim Boyzov, a Russian self-media blogger, after experiencing the services provided by the community center.

“I hope to come back to Luoyang again next April,”

As night fell, the streets of Luoyi Ancient City were filled with tourists. The city is surrounded by moats, and the willows by the riverside sway gently. In the scenic Wenfeng Tower and the ancient streets, visitors in Hanfu can be seen everywhere.

Foreign netizens also put on Hanfu to watch magnificent performances and admire a variety of intangible cultural heritage products. They take photos with tourists and recommend Luoyi to their fans on their mobile phones. “Beautiful,” “amazing,” “like,” “miss” and other words are often heard coming from their mouths.

“It feels like I’ve traveled back to the Tang Dynasty,” said Pakistani vlogger Mei Yue, who loves the place. “I hope to come back to Luoyang in April next year to see the real peony flowers.” (Reporter Jiang Yingying  Internship Student Yan YaQing  DuanXiaoXia Text/Photo)
