The Source of the Hakkas, Tracing Ten Thousand Miles

The large – scale live – broadcast activity of “The Source of the Hakkas, Tracing Ten Thousand Miles” jointly planned and initiated by 13 media including Luoyang Daily Press Group has been launched.

In the first live – broadcast, Yu Chunbin, the executive vice – president of Luoyang Hakka Federation, led the audience into the site of the Ancient Luoyang City of Han – Wei Dynasties and Hutou Mountain Forest Park in Yanshi District, introduced that Luoyang, as the ancestral root of the Hakkas, is the place where the Hakka ancestors started their “migration to the south with their costumes and hats”, and numerous relics related to the Hakka ancestors.

He also told about the reasons and the number of the Hakka people migrating to the south, as well as the “Monument of the Holy Land for the Migration of the Central Plains Hakka Ancestors to the South” on Hutou Mountain in Yanshi.

The second live – broadcast will be carried out on the 18th, leading people into the Memorial Hall of the Source of Luoyang Hakkas.
