On May 18th, the China Luoyang Cultural Tourism (Tokyo) Exchange and Friendship Gathering was held at the Tokyo Multicultural Center. The event kicked off with a promotional video of Luoyang City. Through immersive audio-visual experiences, it presented to Japanese friends the profound heritage of Chinese culture and civilization, the magnificent natural landscapes, unique cultural charm, and the ever-changing urban features of Luoyang in a three-dimensional manner.
This event was jointly organized by the China Tourism Office in Tokyo and the Department of Culture and Tourism of Henan Province, and was hosted by the Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism of Luoyang City. It attracted the participation of tourism industry elites and representatives of authoritative media from both China and Japan.
During the event, the Luoyang Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Japan’s MS Travel Agency. This will promote the establishment of a long-term mechanism in areas such as mutual sending of tourists, product development, and brand co-construction between the two places, and build a new platform for exchanges and cooperation between the tourism industries of China and Japan.
