Recently, with the cargo ship carrying “Dongfenghong” new energy engineering forklifts setting sail from Qingdao Port, the Special Vehicle Branch of China National Tractor Corporation has achieved a historic breakthrough – “Luoyang-made” products have for the first time entered the South American new energy engineering machinery market, exporting to Brazil, injecting new impetus into the global layout of “Luoyang-made” products.
“This model of engineering forklift is independently developed and produced by us. It is equipped with an intelligent system of ‘lithium battery + AC motor + automatic transmission’. The battery status can be monitored in real time through a mobile phone App. The safety of operation and energy efficiency management have reached the international advanced level,” said Kong Mengtian, the general manager of the enterprise, pointing to a new batch of forklifts in the workshop that were about to be loaded and transferred.
Kong Mengtian candidly stated that in response to the hot and humid environment during the rainy season in Brazil, the technical team innovatively adopted a three-electric system with IP67 protection level and independently developed a thermal management system, effectively enhancing battery performance and reducing the failure rate of the hydraulic system by nearly 40%. This technological breakthrough is attributed to the company’s long-term accumulation of new energy technology – as early as 2020, it had developed the country’s first lithium titanate battery forklift, achieving a 30-minute fast charge and 7-hour endurance.
“We will continue to deepen the coordinated development strategy of ‘special vehicle equipment + environmental sanitation services’, and drive industrial upgrading through technological innovation,” said Kong Mengtian.
