On the evening of December 7th, the intangible cultural heritage performances from Luoyang Guanlin Scenic Area were splendidly staged in front of Tonghuai Guanyue Temple in Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, winning rounds of applause from the local citizens.

This performance is part of the 2025 Cross-Strait Guan Gong Belief and Custom Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition and Performance Event, hosted by the Luoyang Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics, the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, and other units. It aims to promote cultural exchanges between Luoyang and Quanzhou.

Bai Xue, director of the Luoyang Guanlin Management Office, said that the Guan Gong folk belief is a national-level intangible cultural heritage project. She hopes that this opportunity will enable more intangible cultural heritages of the River Luo region to “go global” and shine in the new era.
