
Recently, the special exhibition “Narrative – A Fine Exhibition of Ancient Syrian Cultural Relics” is launched at the Luoyang Museum for the Spring Festival.
This exhibition is organized chronologically into five units: “Dawn: Stone Age”, “Transformation: Bronze Age”, “Rivalry: Iron Age”, “Integration: Greek, Roman and Islamic Ages”, and “Dialogue”. Together, they form a panoramic view of civilization spanning hundreds of thousands of years, presenting the unique charm of Syria as a convergence point of civilizations and allowing visitors to directly experience the diversity and depth of its culture.

The exhibition brings together 195 pieces or groups of artifacts from nine museums in Syria, including the National Museum of Damascus and the Aleppo Museum, as well as the Dunhuang Academy and the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Museum. The exhibits include stone statues, painted pottery, bronze wares, gold wares, mosaics, cuneiform clay tablets, etc. They comprehensively showcase the civilization of Syria from the Paleolithic Age to the 18th century, as well as the history of friendly exchanges and the enduring traditional friendship between China and Syria.

This exhibition adopts a paid admission model. The ticket price for adults is 40 yuan. Minors, current college students, and people aged 60 and above enjoy relevant preferential policies. During the exhibition period, the museum offers free guided tours at fixed times, which are at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m.

The exhibition is located in the temporary exhibition hall on the second floor of Luoyang Museum and will last until May 5th.(Reporter Liu Jiayi)
