On February 10th, the day of the Lunar New Year’s Eve, the ancient charm of the Tang Dynasty is showcased at transportation hubs such as Luoyang Beijiao Airport and Jiefang Road Metro Station, inviting tourists to experience the “New Year in Luoyang, the Ancient Capital” through cultural performances and considerate services.
In the arrival hall of the airport, the team of “Phoenix Dance in the Divine Capital” greeted tourists with a Tang Dynasty-style honor guard. The “Empress Wu” led the golden-armored guards and female officials to the stage, attracting many people to stop and interact. Some tourists from other places said that they felt the strong festive atmosphere and the sincerity of the city as soon as they arrive in Luoyang. At the Jiefang Road subway station, there is also a wonderful performance. Local citizens voluntarily introduced the scenic spots of Luoyang, and tourists shared their warm experiences on social media platforms one after another.
It is learned that until the 28th day of the 12th lunar month, Luoyang will continue to carry out welcoming activities integrating the etiquette of the Tang Dynasty and intangible cultural heritage elements at the airport and key subway stations, allowing tourists to experience the cultural charm of the ancient capital from the moment they arrive.
