Recently, in Xiyan Park in Jianxi District, a couple from Australia, Serger and Julia, were practicing tai chi under the guidance of Chen-style tai chi 12th generation inheritor Sun Yuliang.
In 2015, while visiting Australia to see their family, Sun Yuliang and his wife demonstrated tai chi, which caught the attention of Sergey and Julia as they were passing by. The couple was attracted by the fluid movements of tai chi and immediately learned a few moves from Sun Yuliang. Since then, they have often studied tai chi through online videos.
For many years, experiencing and learning Chinese martial arts in China has been a dream for the couple. At the beginning of this month, Sergey and Julia traveled across the ocean to Luoyang, officially taking Sun Yuliang as their teacher to study tai chi deeply and feel the unique charm of Chinese culture, fulfilling their dream.
