On the morning of the August 21st, the 2024 UCI World Junior Track Cycling Championships kick off at the Cycling Gymnasium of Luoyang Sports Center. In the first event – the qualification round of the Women’s Team Pursuit, the Chinese team break the national team record with a time of 4 minutes, 36 seconds and 776 milliseconds. This is the first time in the 49 years since the event was held that the Chinese team compete in China. (Reporter Meng Shan)
