On March 18, the reporter learned from the Luoyang City Development and Reform Commission that the preliminary design of the new Jiaozuo high-speed railway through Jiyuan, Luoyang to Pingdingshan (referred to as Jiaoji Luping high-speed railway) was jointly approved by the National Railway Group and the Henan Provincial government, marking that the project is about to enter a new stage of full-scale construction.
As an important part of the national high-speed railway network “Hunan Grand Channel”, the Jiaoji Luping high-speed railway is a major infrastructure project planned and implemented in Henan Province during the “14th Five-Year Plan” period. The line passes through Jiaozuo, Jiyuan, Luoyang and Pingdingshan, which is of great significance to stimulate Henan’s economic and social development and better integrate into the construction of a unified national market.
According to the “Reply to the Preliminary Design of the New Jiaozuo to Pingdingshan Railway”, the main line of the Jiaoji Luping high-speed railway is 230.488 kilometers long, using the transport organization mode of cross-line long-distance trains and intercity trains running on the same line, and running 350 km/h speed class EMU, the line includes Luoyang Hub and Jiaozuo, Pingdingshan and other places related projects, the total project period is arranged by 4 years.(Reporter Guo Xuefeng Correspondent Zhao Huabo Li Quanquan)
