Recently, in Lüzhai Village, Gaolong Town, Yanshi District, villagers are using processed medicinal herb residue from traditional Chinese medicine decoctions to make health pillows, foot soaks and other products.
Since last year, with the assistance of the Yanshi District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the village has extended its industrial chain. The leftover medicinal dregs from traditional Chinese medicine decoctions have been processed into products through environmentally friendly treatments such as high-temperature fermentation, promoting employment and income growth for the local people and adding new impetus to rural revitalization.
