On the April 14th, at the peony planting base in Guozhuang Village, Cangtou Town, Xin’an County, flower farmers were busy picking peonies.
It is now the harvest season for edible peonies in Cangtou Town. The town has planted over 500 mu of edible peonies, which are mainly used for deep processing to make specialty products such as peony tea and peony cakes. The cultivation of peonies has increased the income of the local people and contributed to rural revitalization.
