The reporter learned from the relevant departments that the Luoyang Science and Technology Museum has passed the assessment and been approved as a national 3A tourist attraction.
Luoyang Science and Technology Museum is located in No.5 Nanchang Road, Jianxi district, which is approved by the municipal Party committee and the municipal government, and managed by the Municipal Science and Technology Association to provide public welfare science popularization and services for the people of the city.
The museum has 188 exhibits and the exhibition hall is divided into two floors. The first floor is the exhibition hall of basic subjects, which has four theme exhibition areas: the law of motion, the beauty of electromagnetism, the gorgeosity of sound and light, and the charm of mathematics. The second floor is a featured exhibition area, with seven theme exhibition halls: information science exhibition hall, life science exhibition hall, robot exhibition hall, fire and emergency culture exhibition hall, rocket launch exhibition area, Telecom network fraud prevention exhibition hall, and Chemical corridor. The museum also carries out special science activities such as science factory, science studio, science lecture hall, science show stage, and temporary exhibitions such as “Shadow Play Also Science and Technology” to continuously enhance visitors’ sense of experience and let visitors feel the charm of science at close range.
