The reporter learned from the relevant departments of Luanchuan County that at the 12th World Winter Special Olympics held in Italy recently, four teenagers from Luanchuan achieved good results of 2 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze, and won 8 MEDALS for the Chinese team.
Among them, Liu Ziqi won the men’s individual 2.5 km freestyle cross-country skiing gold medal, and won the men’s individual 1 km freestyle cross-country skiing, 4×1 km cross-country skiing relay two silver MEDALS. Li Yinuo won the gold medal in the women’s 500-meter freestyle cross-country skiing event. Zhang Guoyu won three silver MEDALS in men’s individual 2.5km traditional cross-country skiing, men’s individual 500m freestyle cross-country skiing and 4× 1km cross-country skiing relay. Yang Nonan won the bronze medal in the women’s individual 2.5km freestyle cross-country skiing event.
