Xigong District:build a high-quality cultural, commercial and tourism-themed street

In recent years, while renovating and upgrading Xiaojie, Xigong District has been creating consumption scenarios, optimizing business layouts, and introducing popular small stores. It aims to build a cultural, commercial and tourism-themed street integrating tourism, shopping, leisure and entertainment, to meet the growing demands of citizens and tourists for “eating, drinking, playing, entertainment and nightlife”.

Nowadays, Xigong Xiaojie has not only added very retro red bricks, “Old Street Scenery” murals, “The Origin of Xiaojie” window frames and “Xiaojie’s Past” cultural walls, but also more light boxes printed with the “playful dialects” of Luoyang, allowing citizens and tourists to fully immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere of this retro-style street.

Of course, scene creation is only part of the story; the integration of business formats is the more significant aspect. In Xigong Street, experiential, immersive and fashionable business formats that are friendly to young people are becoming increasingly diverse, with “small shops” standing out particularly.

 

As the Peony Culture Festival approaches, Xiaojie in Luoyang is set to welcome a large number of tourists who come for its reputation. A relevant person in charge of Luoyang Xiaojie Commercial Operation Management Company introduced that they will further create consumption scenarios by means of NPC parades, street performances, and tea brewing around a brazier, to build immersive consumption scenes.
