Recently, in Longbei 1st Road, Chang’an Road Sub-district, Jianxi District, a newly painted 16-meter-high and 10-meter-wide giant mural has beautified the No. 8 Life Plaza. This mural, using a five-story residential building as its canvas, recreates the past life scenes of the old residents in Jianxi District, transforming the weathered red brick wall into a brand-new look and turning it into a popular photo spot.
Since the beginning of this year, Chang’an Road Sub-district has been actively connecting various resources, taking No. 8 Life Plaza as the core to create the “Old No. 8” characteristic street. Through micro-updates and micro-transformations, it has retained the vitality of daily life while infusing new energy. Now, this place has transformed from a single market to a leisure street integrating shopping, dining and socializing.
At present, the adaptation for the elderly and the smart construction in the jurisdiction of this street are continuously advancing. The renovation not only enhances the “appearance level”, but also meets the citizens’ demands for a sense of quality of life. Here, tradition and fashion collide, and the old flavor and new trends coexist, adding more warmth and possibilities to community life.
