Recently, while shopping at a supermarket, Zhang Xiaoguo—a young man from Luoyang working in Jiangsu, China—encountered the sudden collapse of the shop owner. He immediately called emergency services and, under the guidance of the dispatcher, performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the owner, administering over a thousand consecutive chest compressions.
