On the 26th, the 13th Yellow River Pear Blossom Cultural Tourism Season of Huimeng Town, Mengjin District, Luoyang City is opened at the Mengjin Pear Theme Park located in Tielu Village. The continuous pear orchards are in full bloom, as white as snow, attracting tourists to stroll among them to enjoy the flowers, take photos and visit, immersing themselves in the idyllic scenery along the Yellow River.
At the opening ceremony, lion dances, martial arts, drum performances and dances, among other folk cultural programs, are staged one after another, exuding a strong rural flavor and creating a warm and festive atmosphere. The tourism season activities integrate folk performances, flower viewing, and industrial exhibitions, comprehensively showcasing the rich achievements of local agricultural development and attracting visitors from all directions to keep the spring appointment with the pear orchard.
In recent years, Huimeng Town has been committed to developing the Shangjin pear as a leading agricultural industry. It has promoted large-scale cultivation of early-ripening pears and tribute pears in villages such as Xiagu, Lv Village, Tie Lu, and Xiaojie, with a total planting area of over 10,000 mu. The average yield per mu is 8,000 to 10,000 jin, and the average income per mu is about 15,000 yuan, driving steady income growth for the local people. Huimeng Town has held the Yellow River Pear Blossom Cultural Tourism Season for thirteen consecutive years, creating a well-known regional cultural tourism brand. It attracts over 150,000 tourists annually, and the integration of agriculture, culture, and tourism has activated new momentum for rural revitalization.
